Montigo Resort Day 1

(EDITED) Montigo Resorrt have been one of the places/resort that I always wanted to visit! Plan about 2months ago and we decided to have this trip!
Let's go! On the way to ferry terminal, but first let's take a selfie! :)  Tanah merah ferry terminal is further than what I expected, cab fare from jurong to ferry terminal cost $25 without peak hour charges/extra cost.

For people who are like me, who had never been to batam and got no idea what you need to do.

Firstly: Go to the specific company that you bought your ferry ticket to check in and have the white card.

 For example: I bought my tickets at BatamFast, so I will be be checking in on the right side.

Secondly: Check in your necessary luggage in the middle of the ferry terminal. 

Thirdly : So when you are ready, you will have your boarding pass, white card & passport.

*Tips : Do come earlier than your boarding time, because you will need time to check in luggage and queue for checking in. 

There is duty free store after you check in, so don't worry if you need to buy liquour/beer. But you have to finish it during your trip and don't allow to bring it back.
        It takes about 40-45 mins for us to arrive at Batam, however there is only one immigration counter at batam therefore it take about half an hour for us to pass the custom.   Montigo Resort staff was so organized, beginning my boyfriend and I was still worried if the shuttle bus would leave without waiting for us because we were late for arrival timing due to the custom queue.    However, they prepared a list of guest who will be taking the shuttle bus and make sure we catch the shuttle bus and being fetched to their resort. Thumbs up for their service. :)     5-7mins later, we arrived at montigo resort!  Awesome service and awesome view, when we dropped off the shuttle bus, all staff came forward to us and started greeting us with warm smile and then pass us a cold lemongrass towel & welcome drink. Had been to so many different vacation, I would rate them the best service resort for now. :)

*TIPS TO TAKE NOTE*
Please do prepare money for deposit, they actually requested for $2m rupiah as deposit from us and charge to credit card, however I think I did not activate my card therefore I'm unable to use my card, at another point we did not change more than $2m rupiah as cash. After discussion, the staff allow us to set SGD $100 as deposit which is refundable when checking out.

*So, please do prepare money for deposit. I heard the minimum was $100SGD.

There is free wifi, from reception to the whole villa.
You can talk to the receptionist when you check in about the wifi and they will let you know about it.

Prepared ourself and get ready to book a cab to drive us over to nagoya hill shopping mall to get some food for cooking. Two way cab fare cost us about $400K Rupiah, because the driver was so nice so we gave him extra tips.  Nagoya hill is filled with food, shopping stall and hypermart. Our main purpose was to go to the hypermart to get food for the 3days2night dinner/lunch.
  We spend few hours shopping in the hypermart and had our lunch at A&W. Spending $600K at the hypermart with lots of food, bacons, crabmeat, hotdog, angelhair pasta, tomato sauce, indomee, chocolates, potato chips, mixer and even got rock glass for gentleman jack.   All their food are really cheap as compared to singapore, if you plan to stock up your stuff in singapore bring a big bag! :)   Got back to villa about 6pm and the sun start to set, definitely the best scenery.  So in loveeeeeeeee~
